The Norfolk-Southern train derailment and subsequent burning of spilled petrochemicals has created a hazardous situation for residents in East Palestine, Ohio and nearby communities. You can learn more about it here.
Clean Air Council has been on the ground in East Palestine, providing air purifiers to residents who are fearful that they have been exposed to hazardous chemicals, and don’t feel safe in their homes. Will you give today to help us get home air purifiers to residents impacted by this preventable disaster?
The Council already provided 85 air purifiers to residents, but still has over 200 requests for air filters that need to be fulfilled. We need your help today to get air purifiers to everyone who needs one. Each HEPA-approved air purifier costs about $500.
Our goal is to raise $150,000 to ensure that everyone who needs an air purifier due to the Norfolk-Southern train derailment can get one. Any amount you can donate helps, and every dollar you give to the Council goes directly to getting more air purifiers in homes.
